The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that the average individual visit the same dentist twice a year for routine exams and cleanings. These visits are designed to prolong oral health and wellness and prevent major issues from developing. Unfortunately, a huge portion of the population refuses to visit the dentist regularly because of concerns about money, insurance acceptance, and how much a treatment will cost.

At Pediatric Dental Wellness in Houston, we have streamlined the insurance and billing process. We accept most major providers and can help you figure out alternate forms of payment if you are uninsured but still require treatment.

Insurance Information

A person’s insurance coverage is called their plan, which is offered by a provider. The provider might be a designated insurance company, but it could also be the federal government or a similar entity. There are dozens of options available for the average person, so it can often be confusing about which provider is the best one for coverage for you and your family.

At present, Pediatric Dental Wellness in Houston is proud to say we accept the majority of plans and providers, including ones like Medicaid. We only ask that you bring a copy of your card or similar information with you to your first appointment so it can be entered into our system. This facilitates billing.

Other Options

If you don’t have dental insurance, treatment might still be available to you. We accept payment through several different options, including CareCredit ®️. CareCredit is a card you can apply for and use to pay for dental treatment in full at the time of your appointment. All you need to do is make a payment plan with the CareCredit System.

If CareCredit doesn’t work for you, Pediatric Dental Wellness also keeps the prices of preventive care low and affordable. Basic exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and fillings are all designed to be accessible to patients of different backgrounds, socioeconomic classes, and financial situations.

If you need more expensive treatment, consider signing up for a payment plan or orthodontic loan. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to answer questions and help you figure out a solution.
